Seven years to this day, in partnership with Good News Christian Fellowship (now called Great Commission Baptist Church/GCBC), Proverbs 22:9 Ministries started its very first feeding program in Gapan City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. Today, we have feeding programs not only in Gapan but also in Pambuan, Maburak, San Isidro, Cabanatuan City, and Palayan City in Nueva Ecija and in Victoria, Tarlac. Also, there are 50 schoolchildren in our scholarship program. We provide them with school supplies, uniforms, and provide help with their school fees. We are so thankful to all our church partners: GCBC-Gapan and Maburak, Grace Community Christian Fellowship of Cabanatuan City and Victoria First Baptist Church of Victoria, Tarlac. We are so blessed to have hardworking volunteers who cook, play games, and teach bible stories to all the kids. We are forever grateful to all our donors who support this ministry faithfully and generously.
This month marked the end of our feeding programs at Gapan South, Gapan East, and Maburak Elementary Schools. We have also been informed that the Philippine Department of Education has decided to start feeding undernourished schoolchildren. Additionally, this month marked the beginning of our feeding programs in Pambuan, San Isidro, and at a new small village in Maburak (pictures below).
