Nine years ago today, we took a big leap of faith and started our very first feeding program in Gapan City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. We are so grateful for all the individuals and churches who had been with us every step of the way. We are also thankful for all our new partners. For those of you who are not familiar with our history, before we became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we first started as a church ministry of Pauline Baptist Church of Monticello, AR ( 6 1/2 years). We are forever grateful for Pauline. The Great Commission Baptist Church of Gapan City has been our partner since day one as well, and the leadership of Pastor Jerry Sison has been very invaluable. Mariam Sison, our ministry’s Philippine Director, has been our guiding wheel from the inception of this ministry to the present. We praise and thank God for all the men and women from GCBC and Cabanatuan Christian Church who tirelessly work as the hands and feet of this mission work. They go to the market to buy food, cook, serve, wash pots/pans/dishes, and teach bible stories (and in the last few months, bagging groceries and delivering them to the kids). Our hearts are full with gratefulness. Through God’s grace, we will continue on in advancing His kingdom here on earth by feeding children spiritually and physically!
